The Air Quality Platform (AQP) is a small platform developed for Educational purposes.
It is based on a Raspberry Pi computer and a SW running on the resident Raspbian OS, and equipped with a set of sensors that measure different characteristics of the ambient air. On top of that, the station also includes a GPS receiver for localisation.
Data from the AQP network is sent to a central server (https://aqp.eo.esa.int) where an overlay with Sentinel 5P data is possible.
The platform is built on commercial grade HW components available on most common on-line shops.
The SW instead has been developed and maintained by ESA. It is made available to users through the EOP-CFI portal.
